Rod Pocket
Timeless & relaxed
A timeless heading with a relaxed, effortless drape. The pole slides through a pocket at the top, so the fabric gathers softly along it.
How to measureCafé Curtain
Three heading styles - Rod Pocket, Double Rod Pocket and Pleated. Handmade by Sarah-Jane in our Cotswolds studio.
Good to know
A short curtain that covers the lower part of a window, usually hung from a pole partway down the frame. It gives privacy at eye level and lets daylight in over the top.
Rod Pocket slides onto a single pole for a soft, relaxed gather. Double Rod Pocket has a pocket at the top and bottom, held taut between two rods, so it suits doors, cabinetry and Velux windows. Pleated hangs on rings for fuller, more tailored folds.
Our linens, Luma and Sera, are the heavier fabrics, with more texture and a little more privacy. Our cottons, Alda, Elva and Noma, are lighter and let more light through, with a subtle pattern. Samples are £2 each with free UK delivery if you want to compare.
Usually just above the window hardware, though it's your call. Hang it where it gives you privacy and lets the light in above.
Yes, both suit linen and cotton well. Like any natural fabric, they're happiest in a room with good ventilation.
Yes. Measure each window as you would any other; usually that means one curtain per window. Bay poles vary, so measure once yours is in place.
